First Friday is just around the corner and I’ve got the routine pre-show nerves (is it enough? is it good enough? why does that piece I really liked yesterday look terrible today?) Above, doghouse as spray table. It’s always nice when summer shows up and I can move this part of the process outside.
Assuming I settle down and get the last of my projects finished up, I’d like to invite everyone in Fairbanks (and beyond, if you want to make the trip!) to the exhibit titled “Observations and Inventions” at the Alaska House. The opening is Friday, June 7 from 5-7 pm.
The deadline for a show pushes me to work hard and fast, and inevitably there are ideas that miss the deadline. I plan to keep working through the month and will be bringing new pieces into the gallery as they are finished.
