Here in Fairbanks spring lasts for a day or two and then suddenly it is summer. This year was even more dramatic than usual; in less than two weeks we went from the 50’s to the 80’s. A few photos from the new season:
A large forest fire blew up on a windy day, burning 900 acres on a nearby ridge and causing great concern to all Goldstream Valley residents. This is the view from our property’s bridge across Eldorado Creek. Thanks to all the firefighters for preventing what could have been a real disaster.
Pablo’s doghouse makes a good outdoor workbench on a nice warm day. Despite the breakneck pace of this time of the year, things are coming together nicely for my July show. I’ll have a preview shortly.
