City of Unalaska Public Library, 2023

Reading the Shore is a set of four relief-carved and painted yellow cedar panels, 18”x30” each. The installation was commissioned by the City of Unalaska for the substantial remodel and expansion of their public library. This quartet of pieces are inspired by my observations of roots along the nearby shoreline. They are located behind the library’s main circulation desk.
